What Are Merchant Mariner Physicals?

All MMC candidates require a Merchant Mariner physical exam. They are required for admittance to the U.S. Coast Guard. They may also be required for grade raises if an applicant hasn’t completed one within three years of applying. We will complete your physical exam using the Coast Guard Form CG 719 K. We also offer USCG/DOT drug screening needed to complete this certification.

Periodic Health Assessment (PHA) Physicals are a type of routine physical examination required by the military. They are required to screen for any symptoms and signs of serious diseases like heart disease. They are required every year. Dr.Paul’s Clinic can perform your PHA physicals on a Walk-In Basis.
